Anna-Catharina von Girsewald advises German and foreign corporations in national and international M&A transactions and joint ventures throughout the industries. Moreover, she has extensive knowledge in the insurance sector and specializes in insurance regulatory and insurance compliance advisory work. Complementary to her professional focus, she is a member in Oppenhoff’s insurance, compliance and industrials sector groups.
Education
Anna-Catharina von Girsewald has been admitted to the German Bar in 2011 and is a Junior Partner at Oppenhoff since 2017. She studied law at the University of Konstanz. During her legal internship she already worked at Oppenhoff as well as, amongst others at Alston & Bird, New York. Prior to joining Oppenhoff, she worked as Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in the field of Corporate/M&A. She is a member of the Cologne Bar Association (Kölner Anwaltsverein).
