Sophie has extensive experience in advising on and litigating commercial and corporate disputes. Her practice focuses on complex and cross-border litigation in these areas. She also has significant experience with breach of contract, tort and (cartel) damages claims, as well as procedural law issues.
Sophie joined Lemstra Van der Korst in 2021, after having worked at Allen & Overy and Jones Day. She was admitted to the bar in 2009.
Sophie is a member of the editorial board of the leading Dutch legal journal on commercial contracting, Rechtspraak Contractenrecht, and graduated cum laude from the postgraduate master Business & Liability at the Grotius Academy.
Sophie is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association and of the Dutch Association for Procedural Law.
