Norton Rose Fulbright propelled into top 100 of Stonewall Workplace Equality Index
First placement in the top 100 and one of only 10 law firms in the index

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has risen 36 places in this year’s annual Stonewall Workplace Equality Index and is the 9th best performing law firm in the index. This is the first time Norton Rose Fulbright has been included in the top 100.
The index measures the efforts of Britain's employers to tackle discrimination and promote inclusive and supportive workplaces for lesbian, gay and bisexual employees. The index assesses how employers perform in both policy and practice, from employee training on discrimination issues to the visibility of LGBT role models within the business.
The increase in rankings is attributed to initiatives run by the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allies (LGBTA) network group and its work with client and industry LGBT affinity groups. Members of the LGBTA network played a crucial role in the UK launch of insurance industry LGBT network (LINK). The network also launched internal initiatives including the ‘Anyone can be an Ally’ campaign and a workshop on ‘Being LGBT in the workplace’.

The Norton Rose Fulbright LGBTA network was established in 2010 with the aim of fostering an inclusive environment for all people within the LGBT community. Since the London launch, networks have been created by Norton Rose Fulbright in Canada and Australia.
