Serra is a partner in our Commercial and Corporate Law Department, leading the M&A, finance and energy practices.
She has previously worked with a golden circle global law firm in its New York and Istanbul Offices, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, bank finance transactions and energy projects, and as in-house at Sabanci Holding where she enhanced her transactional expertise acting for and advising the likes of Akbank, Enerjisa, Advansa and other subsidiaries of the group in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, energy, project finance and bank finance deals. Serra has significant expertise in the Middle East and CIS from her years as the head of legal for these jurisdictions at Coca-Cola.
A member of the Istanbul Bar and the New York Bar, Serra holds two LLM. degrees, one on corporate law from New York University and another on EU law from Brussels Free University (VUB). She is fluent in English and speaks French.
