Partner at Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes since 2008 and member since 1998.

Lorenza Langarica O'Hea has participated in structured financings, corporate, mergers and acquisitions matters, real estate and energy matters, including joint ventures and corporate and asset acquisitions, as well as tourist developments, with broad experience in representing domestic and international clients, regularly advising buyers, sellers, and investors in complex cross border merger and acquisition transactions, including the antitrust aspects of such transactions, as well as the purchase and sale of private companies, buyouts, joint ventures and divestitures in Mexican target companies. Ms Langarica O'Hea has been an integral part in several sales of highly valuable assets owned or controlled by Mexican governmental agencies.

Appointed as alternate secretary of the board of directors of several clients: Servicio Pan Americano de Protección, SA de CV (largest secure transportation provider for securities, cash and valuables in Mexico);
Consorcio Ara, SAB de CV (top five housing developer); Trans Union de México, SA, Sociedad de Información Crediticia and Dun & Bradstreet, SA, Sociedad de Información Crediticia (together "Buro de Crédito", largest provider in Mexico of business credit information and credit reports).

Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes SC's real estate practice has a strong track record in managing resort and hospitality developments and has already carved a significant presence within the FIBRA market, working on two of REIT-style trusts. Ms Langarica recently advised Atlas Capital Management and Chsisi Salud on the drafting and negotiation of a built-to-suit lease agreement for specialised hospital in Los Cabos, Baja
California.

Ms Langarica has been selected to feature in the second edition of Best Lawyers in Mexico in the real estate specialty.

Ms Langarica was a foreign associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York from 2001 to 2002.
She received her Master of Laws from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001, and was admitted to practice in Mexico in 1994. She received her law degree with honours from Universidad Iberoamericana (1988-1992).
