Arleen Nand is a structured finance partner at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP. She represents commercial, cooperative and investment banks, hedge funds and corporations in complex and innovative structured finance transactions.
Arleen is the relationship partner for one of the firm's primary banking clients. She is also the co-head of the firm's global agribusiness finance practice, leads a segment of the firm's nationally recognized food and agriculture industry team and is a member of the firm's Financial Services Industry Steering Committee.
Arleen has served as lead counsel on numerous financings, including multi-currency and cross-border credit facilities, securitizations, syndicated loan transactions, asset-based and cash flow financings, convertible debt facilities, senior and mezzanine transactions and leveraged lease financings.
She has advised private equity funds and other clients on transactions involving various domestic and foreign collateral issues, including credit facilities secured by rolling stock, maritime vessels, aircraft, coal reserves, oil rigs and carbon credits.
With respect to international financings, Arleen has structured multi-currency credit facilities secured by real estate and personal property assets located in Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Ireland, Germany, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Peru, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
