Carolina Rabello Nobre graduated from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (São Paulo, Brazil) in 2.000 and obtained an LL.M degree and a Certificate in Business Administration from Northwestern University School of Law and the Kellogg School of Management (Chicago, USA) in 2.006. She has a Certificate in Advanced Finance from the Administration Institute Foundation (FIA) of the University of São Paulo (Brazil), in 2.003. Carolina was admitted to the São Paulo State Bar Association (OAB/SP) in 2.001, and started her career in 1998 as a trainee in Corporate Law.

 

Since 2.012, she is a partner of FreitasLeite Advogados law firm in São Paulo, Brazil, with more than 15 years of experience in business consulting and legal advisory services related to  securities regulation, financial and capital markets regulation, banking and corporate Law. Her responsibilities include structuring of investment funds, public offerings, securitization of credits, and general corporate and commercial legal advice to international and Brazilian clients.

 

Carolina had a leading role (which includes negotiation, drafting and revision of agreements and development of strategies, products and structures) in several major capital market transactions over the last years, such as the launch of new hedge funds and investment products, corporate and fund reorganizations, establishment of joint-ventures, acquisition and sale of distressed credit portfolios, public offerings of real estate funds, and several private equity and securitization deals.


Prior to FreitasLeite Advogados, she worked for Vision Brazil Investments, Barbosa; Müssnich & Aragão Advogados; Wald e Advogados Associados; and Lacaz Martins, Halembeck, Pereira Neto, Gurevich & Schoueri Advogados.
Carolina is fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian.
