Angelica von der Decken has been Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT's Munich office since 1992 and Co-Head of the Practice Group IP/IT/Media. Her area of activity comprises intellectual property and unfair competition law as well as international commercial law. Angelica’s client base is mainly active in publishing, information technologies, sports, beverages, furniture, toys, automotive, and arts. Angelica is listed and explicitly recommended among the leading lawyers for trademark and unfair competition matters by JUVE, Legal 500 and Wirtschaftswoche.
Angelica studied law at the Universities of Freiburg, Munich and Hamburg. She is member of the Board of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the largest and oldest German association that is devoted to the protection of intellectual property. She is holder of the German Federal Cross of Merit (Bundesverdienstkreuz). Angelica speaks English and German. Angelica is married and has two children aged16 and 17.
