Ashurst advised Aberdeen Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH (Aberdeen) on its acquisition of 237 rental apartments and a nursery in Frankfurt am Main. Hochtief Solutions AG is the seller of the apartments of the Lahn'sche Höfe project in Frankfurt's Gallus quarter.
The units are on average 78 square metres in size and are being built on the property which is 8,100 square metres in size in four apartment buildings with seven floors. Aberdeen will be incorporating the apartments, the 239 underground car park spaces and the 800 square metre nursery in a special fund.
The Ashurst team was led by Frankfurt real estate partner Dr Liane Muschter and senior associate Marcus Wirfs. Partner Dr Klaus Herkenroth advised on the tax aspects.
