Ariane is a Principal Associate in our Projects group, based in Dubai. She specializes in OHADA law.
Ariane advises on legal aspects of projects in Africa, further to an extensive general experience acquired by working for over seventeen years with two major law firms in Africa (Ivory Coast and Cameroon), and in the Paris office of an international leading law firm.
Her experience covers nearly all aspects of running companies registered or operating in French-speaking African countries (setting up, financing, contracts, dispute resolution etc.) in various sectors (energy, transport, infrastructures, finance). Her experience in Africa has given her an excellent understanding of the African realities and a practical knowledge of the OHADA legal system, especially concerning the issuance and renewal of security packages.
Ariane advises governments, public institutions, financial institutions (including Development Financial Institutions), commercial banks and private investors on various kind of projects in Africa with a strong focus on financing and PPP projects.
Ariane is co-author of a book in French relating to the New OHADA Uniform Act on Security entered into effect on 16 May 2011 (Lamy Axe Droit).
