Aya Tokuyasu is a senior associate in our finance practice
Aya specialises in financial regulation and financial transactions. She advises clients on banking and securities regulation, including on regulatory compliance and regulatory investigations. Her experience includes negotiating with regulators, of which she has industry insight based on her experience on secondment at the Japanese Financial Services Agency and Japanese mega bank. In addition, she has experiences with various finance transactions including project finance (including PFI), structured finance, acquisition finance, and fund transactions.
Aya is a Japanese qualified lawyer (bengoshi) and is a member of the Dai-ichi Tokyo Bar Association. Prior to joining Ashurst, she has experience working for leading Japanese law firms.
