She joined the firm in 2006 where she provides assistance to banks, insurance companies, financial intermediaries and companies.
Her practice primarily focuses on complex derivatives litigation, financial instruments, white collar defense, prospectus liability and market abuse. She gives assistance for commodity derivatives, financial instruments and investment funds.
Over the years, she dealt with the major issues gradually emerging in the field of banking, assisting major banks in some of the most important court cases of recent years (among others, Parmalat case, derivatives entered by local authorities, Ilva, etc.).
Prior to joining Macchi di Cellere Gangemi she worked at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, in Los Angeles, US, and before she trained with the capital market team at CBA law firm in Milan.
She graduated at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali “Luiss – Guido Carli”, in Rome in 2001 and she was a lecturer as an outside expert in the teaching of law of derivatives and financial transactions at “La Sapienza University of Rome”, on specific issues related to derivative instruments (code of conduct, derivative instruments, issues related to derivative transactions, etc.).
She is the author of articles on capital market law.
