Ms. Chawla has over 13 years of experience with specialization in Corporate, Taxation and IPR Laws.
She regularly advises on various legal matters including but not limited to corporate laws, insolvency, taxation, etc.
In the course of her career, Ms. Chawla, has accrued extensive experience while working on and successfully dealing with variety of domestic and cross-border corporate and tax related issues including relating to incorporation, corporate restructuring, corporate governance issues, FDI/FEMA, SEBI, ECB, direct and indirect taxation, etc.
She has specialist knowledge of a variety of sectors and has assisted clients from many industries including real estate and infrastructure, hospitals and hospitality, manufacturing, import and export, etc.
Ms. Chawla is also taking care of the Firm’s practice along with Mr Singh, under newly introduced Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016.
Ms. Chawla actively shares her time and expertise, while working Pro bono, on matters / projects of Thomson Reuters and Advocates for International Development (A4ID).
She is the custodian of the in-house newsletters “Indian Legal Impetus”, “Insolvency Round-Up” and other publications of the firm.
Much significantly, Ms. Chawla is also a facilitator for Start-Ups under the “Scheme for Facilitating Start-Ups Intellectual Property Protection (SIPP)” launched by the Government of India for the prosecution of Trademark.
Ms. Chawla has also been recognised as amongst the IP Gems of India 2018 at Indian IP Awards 2018 by Questel Orbit. She is also a regular contributor to the World Bank Survey and has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from World Bank for contribution in its publications namely:

Mrs Gunita Pahwa
Ms. Pahwa has over 14 years of experience with specialization in Contracts and Transactions and commercial arbitrations. Ms. Pahwa is the Joint Managing Partner & Senior Partner of the firm. She joined the Firm in 2005.
Ms. Pahwa has extensive experience in commercial advisory services, including contract compliances & management, day to day management & representations for ongoing projects, advising and assisting clients regulatory issues, etc. for various sectors e.g. real estate & infrastructure projects, waterways, energy, pharmaceuticals & health care, shipping & mining, education, food and beverages, manufacturing, employment & labor, banking & project finance, tender & bid documents.
Ms. Pahwa has wide experience with representing the clients before various regulatory bodies, arbitral tribunals, etc.
Ms. Pahwa has broad experience in domestic and international arbitrations, including ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations. She has successfully represented clients in domestic as well as international arbitrations before the London Court of International Arbitration, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, etc.
Ms. Pahwa has been instrumental in winning the various valuable honors and awards for Singh & Associates. Also, Ms. Pahwa has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from World Bank for contribution in its publication, i.e. Doing Business in 2010: Reforming through Difficult Times.
