Anne-Gaëlle advises financial institutions, asset managers and investment firms (across Europe, the USA and Asia) on the establishment, structuring and reorganisation of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment vehicles. She has a particular focus on alternative strategies (including private equity, venture capital, real estate and debt). She advises institutional investors on due diligence aspects of their investments. Anne-Gaëlle also advises on the establishment of cross-border structures, including parallel funds and master feeder structures.
Anne-Gaëlle is recommended by The Legal 500 EMEA in 2020. She has been a panel member at various industry fora and has become a respected voice in the industry. She is a member of several associations including Women in Fund Finance, IBA and ALFI. Anne-Gaëlle also regularly hosts webinars and trainings on private equity, reserved alternative investment funds, regulatory and debt funds and is the author of a number of articles and briefings (eg. The EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, Parallel Structures). She is also a regular contributor to LexNow funds database on a series of regulatory articles.
Prior to joining Ogier, Anne-Gaëlle was Counsel – Head of the Regulatory and Investment Management department of the Luxembourg office of a French law firm. She has been working in Luxembourg since 2005 with a stint in Hong-Kong and the fund structuring department of a Luxembourg bank. Anne-Gaëlle graduated with a Master in Law from the University of Louvain in Belgium with Magna Cum Laude (High Honours). She is qualified in Belgium and Luxembourg and speaks English, French, Spanish and basic Dutch.
