Ida Marie is a partner in BAHR’s finance team and head of the firm’s Debt Capital Markets group.
Ida has a broad international practice covering general bank finance and other debt finance transactions, acquisition finance and asset finance across a variety of sectors and industries. She has extensive experience acting for banks and borrowers in high-profile financings, in particular within the maritime sector as well as sustainability-linked and green finance, and is now focusing on BAHR’s bank and investment bank clients.
Ida started her career at BAHR, before relocating to London for a secondment at Slaughter and May. She then worked nearly 8.5 years at the finance team of Watson Farley & Williams in London – one of the leading maritime legal practices in the world – before returning to BAHR as a partner in early 2021. She is dual qualified as a Norwegian Advokat and as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
