I studied law as well as law & economics at the University of Salzburg, Austria. I completed my law degree with a doctoral thesis on the Anti-trust fine, which was published by Linde in 2017 (Die Kartellgeldbuße). In parallel with my studies, I worked as studies assistant, later as research assistant at the University’s department of criminal law. In these years, I did not only have the chance to learn a lot about criminal law, but I also started to publish papers and give lectures in and outside of the University.
In the following three years, I worked as an associate in the Criminal Law Team of wkk law in Vienna, Austria. In May 2019, I passed the Austrian bar exam with distinction. In the three years as associate, I focused even more strongly on White Collar Crime and Criminal Law and, hence, I was able to complete my knowledge with hands-on experience.
In January 2021, I opened up the branch office of wkk law in Salzburg, Austria, where I since then work as a lawyer with a focus on White Collar Crime and Criminal Law. I still devote myself to academic legal work as well, e.g. by publishing papers in law journals or compiling commentaries, and in October 2020, I started again giving lectures at the University of Salzburg.
The partnership, formed in January 2006 between Norbert Wess and Christian Kux, evolved into a law firm named wkk law when Bernhard Kispert joined the team as partner in 2008. In the following years, Georg Eckert, Harald Czermak, Nikolaus Adensamer, Vanessa McAllister and most recently Felix Ruhmannseder joined as new partners.
The law firm’s team has gradually expanded and now consists of approximately 40 employees at its offices in Vienna, Salzburg and Berlin. Our clients’ satisfaction and interests are our top priority. Our experts come from a wide variety of practice areas and provide professional, comprehensive and personal services and advice. If necessary, we can assemble an interdisciplinary team of legal experts at any time.
wkk’s lawyers are listed in national and international rankings in their relevant practice areas. They regularly speak at professional events and write for various professional publications. wkk law’s legal experts maintain close contacts with academic institutions and are therefore able to provide their clients with specific and in-depth academic know-how.
The practice areas of wkk law include, among others, White Collar Crime and Compliance, Competition Law and Business Law, Real Estate Law and Family Law as well as General Civil Law and Litigation/Arbitration.
