Hedwig Lindner is a founding partner and head of the Patent Litigation Department of Arochi & Lindner, with over 35 years of experience in the area. She is a leading patent litigator with particular experience in life sciences, including wins in several landmark cases for clients in the pharmaceuticals and biotech industries. Her expertise also includes trademark and trade secrets law.
Chambers and Partners’ Latin American Guide ranks Hedwig in its Top Tier in IP and also ranks her in Life Sciences. Chambers 2016 edition reports that clients describe her as “a great lawyer who is definitely one of the leaders.” World Trademark Review 1000 (2015) portrays her work as “impeccable”: “She knows the market better than anyone and is a tough negotiator and a dynamic, commercially minded litigator.”
In addition to litigation, Hedwig practice includes licensing. She also advises on regulatory issues affecting the life sciences sector in Mexico and serves as Counsel to the Mexican Association of Generic Drug Companies (ANAFAM). Heidi also has advised the Senate Commissions of Public Treasury and Legislative Studies on amendments of Mexico IP Law.
Most recently, she has been a member of the elite private sector team representing the pharmaceutical industry, which advised the Mexican Government in the Intellectual Property Chapter during the negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
