Aya Kurahashi is a founding partner of Kaynex Law Offices who brings with her extensive experience gained from working at several leading international law firms.
She advises both international and Japanese domestic clients on a broad range of business transactions, including finance transactions.
Aya focuses on finance transactions and has extensive experience with the securitization of various assets, such as real estate and trade receivables, capital markets (including the first CMBS issued in Japan after the collapse of Lehman Brothers), cross-border acquisition finance, cross-border secured and unsecured financing, and restructuring. She has also provided legal advice on novel structures for unprecedented finance transactions on many occasions.
